When I turned 60, I did not expect to live more than another year or two. I was 120 pounds overweight, and pretty sick. I'd been on three "life long" prescription medications for 20+ years, and just kept getting sicker. I was blessed to see some co-workers losing weight and regaining their health with meat-based, low carbohydrate diets. I studied what they were doing and started experimenting on myself. To my surprise, after decades of one failed diet after another, I effortlessly lost 70 pounds and have maintained that weight loss for several years. I also eliminated the need for all three prescription medications, depression, high blood pressure, acid reflux, irritable bowels, joint pain, fatty liver, brain fog & lethargy. My labs have never been more beautiful! I am committed to helping others discover real food, drop the poison and get their lives back so they can walk powerfully in all God has planned for them.
I take a holistic approach to health, focusing on nutrition, daily movement, sleep, stress management, and overall well-being. My coaching services are tailored to meet the unique needs, goals and lifestyle of each individual client.
I normally meet with clients once a week for several weeks. During those meetings we discuss goals, action items, barriers, successes, struggles, strategies and next steps. I also provide customized tools and educational information as needed.
Clients usually already know what healthy habits they want, and they just need help fitting those habits into their lives. That is my specialty - helping you remove the barriers that stand between you and optimal health.
I am a Certified Primal Health Coach and a Certified Applied Ketogenic Diet Specialist
with the Primal Health Institute. I enjoy helping people understand how nutrition and other lifestyle factors impact health, and developing strategies that work for their specific life circumstances.
